I am thoroughly impressed by the Montessori Teacher Training Course at Indian Institute for Montessori Studies.The curriculum provided a perfect balance of theory and hands-on practical activities. The trainers were incredibly patient, breaking down complex Montessori philosophies into easily understandable concepts. The practical material-making sessions was done in detail during the course.The most valuable part of the program, to me, was the attention to detail that the instructors had. Each little insight was appreciated and valued to us. There was no “right or wrong“ when it came to a subjective part of the method, but there were many times we were able to “troubleshoot“ instances, share ideas, and collaborate while feeling supported. This program has highly experienced trainers who are responsive, realistic, and have great intentions for the development of a child in the early years.
The Institute has helped me learn to not just impart knowledge, but teach the whole child.
I have gained a significant amount of knowledge of child development connected with Maria Montessori`s educational approach and could experience the development of a child following this methodology.
We learned the importance of observation, classroom design, materials, community and partnership.The course provided an excellent foundation in Montessori pedagogy.

I started my Montessori journey a decade back in IIMS. I was freshly out of college and was looking to get into the education field. I came across this institute and began training under the wonderful Montessorians and developed a great passion for the Montessori pedagogy. IIMS not only shows you how to work with children, but it also introduces you to Dr. Montessori’s philosophy in such a clear way that you will fall in love with the method.
